Anyone having one or two children is exposed to taking responsibilities day by day as it is sometimes difficult to find the most appropriate way to bring up a child. Nowadays education of the offsprings has bacome a prime concearn of parents.

There are two basic factors to influence competition in economy: demand and supply but these main factors can also be found in society . There is always a competition for places even beginning from kindergartens. But if tehre is competition there is always a standard to meet so parents try to do their best to get their chilldren to those highly valued places . This phenomenon has somehow resulted in an early, extra-early education which is a territory with lots of contradiction. Four-year-olds practice reciting mathematical formulas; two-year-olds learn how to play a violin or an oboe; eight-month-olds are taught to count from flash cards. These examples seem to be quite extreme but they are unfortunately not far from reality. In an effort to grow the best possible child ever parents tend to treat them like some exotic vegetable. They have only one excuse for this; they think they are doing their children a favour. In a way it is true because all they want is to help tehir children to meet the recquired standards but it brings up several disadvantages as well. Even pediatricians debate this view about early education. They concearn that the real reason for this phenomenon is that it gives a way for young parents to feel successfull about their own parenting.

The best example to show what extremities it can lead to is to mention the case of Adragon de Mello, the Guiness Book child who graduated from the University of Columbia Santa Cruz at the age of ten. His only `fault` was that he was born talented and into a family with a pushy father. Besides this struggle for being successful in parenting there is always an another factor to produce this deformity : in our result-oriented society there is always a big rush for grabbing opportunities. Some experts consider this process as a miseducation and that is definitely true: the increased responsibilities can result in life-long personaliti damages and other sorts of unneccessary stresses. While talking about gifted children it would be advisable to clarify the meaning of the word itself. Since this is a complex notion there is no only one possible definition existing . Besides that extreme example there are other characteristic features to recognise talents: advanced vocabulary; ability to grapple with abstruct notions or concepts; excellent memory; not following lock-step methods in studying; finding their own approach to problems; outstanding phi sical strength . This list cannot be fulfilled with a certain number of data because it is the question of approach to define what this notion means. All is important is that they do not have to be goaded to do things they do taht on their own because there is a natural enthusiasm about new skills and challanges on their side.No forcing is neccessary, they are the ones who choose.

For some giftedness means academic achievements alone. Parents should not model their children on themselves. They have to realise and accept what their children are longing to do and have to strenghten them towards their natural bent fot becoming a mathematician, social worker, football quarterback, pediatrician or athlete. Children should have the luxury of childhood and nogoading is necessary to succeed at younger and younger ages. Anyway it is commonly known that youngsters do not show their best under pressure. A parent showing enthusiasm and interest about an interest a child developes does much more for her or him.

After all the best solution ever for this phenomenon should be giving your children an extra year of childhood because it cannot be bought.
